Required Documents For Freezone

When you are trying to start a new Free Zone business or company in UAE, the first and quite difficult step is to gather particular documentations. Luckily, as compared to the other countries in the world, required documentations for company formation process in UAE are not so much complicated   .

Different type of business needs different set of documentations to be approved by the relevant authority. So, the documentations rely on business activity, business partnership type, and the site.

Typically, the required documents to form your company in UAE are as follows:

Copy of the Passport

First of all you need a copy of your passport. It must be a clear color copy not black and white one.

Photograph

You will be asked to provide a clear recent photograph with white background.

UAE Entry Stamp

You will need to provide a clear copy of your Latest UAE entry stamp or a copy of UAE residency visa.

Note: – Authorities can ask you for additional documents for some particular cases. These documents are usually as: birth certificate, educational degree, bank letter etc.

Whether you are willing to form a subsidiary of a foreign entity or a branch of a company, you need following documents to start the license application.

Mother Company License

A copy of Mother Company license attested by a Notary is needed at first step.

Mother Company MOA

You will need to show a copy of Mother Company MOA (Memorandum of association) attested by a Notary.

Mother company board resolution

Provide a copy of mother company board resolution attested by a Notary.

Director’s Passport

A clear copy of the passport of the company’s director would be needed to provide.

Photograph

A clear copy of the photograph of the company’s director with white background would be needed to provide.

UAE Entry Stamp

You will need to provide a clear color copy of director’s Latest UAE entry stamp or a copy of UAE residency visa.
